11. Improve Your Relationship
by Kathlyn and Gay Hendricks, creators of ATTRACTING GENUINE LOVE and
other cyber-courses on transformation.

RELATIONSHIP QUESTION OF THE WEEK:

QUESTION:
As we create conscious relationships, how do the male and female
roles and qualities change, or do they? Are there some qualities or
traits that are universal or given? For example, people often think
of the female energy as soft and receptive, while the male energy is
active and hard.

ANSWER:
The discussion about the differences between males and females has
gone on for centuries and continues to entrance and entangle
millions. We have focused our exploration on what we share in common,
such as feelings, and what we can learn relationship itself. Since
every other cell in our bodies is contributed by the opposite sex, we
each express a dynamic of male and female that we can appreciate and
claim by co-committing to learning from every relationship
interaction.

RELATIONSHIP TIPS:

THE SEVEN ESSENTIAL COMMITMENTS YOU NEED TO MAKE BEFORE YOU INVITE
LOVE INTO YOUR LIFE

In our last issue we covered the fifth Personal Commitment. I commit
to learning to love and appreciate myself and others in my close
relationships.

Commitment 6

I commit to the full expression of my creativity, and to inspiring
the full creative expression of those around me. You cannot have
ultimate closeness without being fully able to be separate. In other
words, the more fully developed you are as an individual, the more
you are able to give and receive love in a relationship.

A commitment to individual development is crucial because a
co-committed relationship emerges only when both people are willing
to be 100 percent themselves as individuals. If either person is
being less than 100 percent, the ground is ripe for power struggles.
Each person will be trying to find places to hide from responsibility
in the relationship, the places where the other person is at fault.

Many of us have never had the opportunity to commit ourselves
consciously to our own growth. In fact many of us saw relationships
in our past in which people had to compromise their individual
development in order to maintain the relationship. They had to get
smaller in order to squeeze themselves into an ill-fitting box. These
are the seeds of the unconscious commitments that we have lived our
lives by. In our course, ATTRACTING GENUINE LOVE, we explore our
unconscious commitments and where they come from.

13. This Issue's Feature Article:

Thinking About Thinking: Strategies and their Results
by Bill Harris, Director

What is thinking, anyway?

People think in four different ways. The first is through internal
dialog--thinking in words. A second way is visually--through internal
pictures. Third, we think auditorily--through hearing internal
sounds. Fourth, we think kinesthetically--through feelings.

Most people, when they consider the act of thinking, consider all
thoughts to consist of internal dialog, but actually all of these
modalities are forms of thought. Some people use some modalities more
than others, of course. Almost all people, though, use all of them.
Most of the time, we use them in combinations, sequencing one after
another. These sequences are the basis of what I call internal
strategies.

These ways of thinking (visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and internal
dialog) can be broken down a little further. For each of the four, we
could have a remembered version (an internal picture, sound, feeling,
or bit of internal dialog that is remembered), or a constructed
version (an internal picture, sound, feeling, or bit of internal
dialog that is internally created, in the moment). So, considering
constructed and remembered varieties of the four thought modalities
above, this makes eight varieties of thought.

These eight ways of thinking, as with pretty much everything in your
internal map of reality, happen unconsciously. Your use of them is
almost entirely out of your awareness. People are probably more
conscious of the internal dialog type of thinking, but even most of
that goes on without your paying attention to it.

So what, you say? Why does it matter that all these ways of thinking
go on unconsciously? Because these thoughts end up generating how you
feel and how you behave, what choices and decisions you make, what
people and situations you attract or are attracted to--in fact,
pretty much everything that happens in your life. If all of this is
generated unconsciously, you're going to have to accept the
consequences created by these eight kinds of thinking without your
having any conscious input.

If, however, you can learn to generate all of this consciously, with
awareness, you can create any result you want in life.

Here's how it works:

First, something--usually something from your environment, but it
could be something from inside of you--triggers one of these ways of
thinking. For instance, you see something, and as a result you say
something to yourself. You see a new Mercedes, and you say, "Wow,
what a cool looking car." You could, though, instead of saying
something to yourself, make an internal picture, or hear an internal
sound (which could include someone else's voice saying something), or
have a feeling. And, any of these could be constructed or remembered.
So there's a trigger, and then you use one of these ways of thinking
to register it inside--in other words, you make an internal
representation, using one of the eight kinds of thinking.

Okay, onward. What happens next is that the first way of thinking you
used triggers another way of thinking, which triggers another, and so
on. You see the Mercedes, you say something to yourself, you get a
feeling, you make an internal picture...and so on. These strings of
thinking modalities--what I call internal representations--make up
what I call your internal strategies.

Again, so what?

Well, what's important about this is that strategies are a core part
of the results you experience in your life. They are the spark plug
that generates what happens.

So let's dig into this a little deeper now, because there's more to
it. So, first, there's a trigger, which could be external or
internal, followed by a series of internal representations, each one
leading to the next, with the whole process happening unconsciously
and outside your awareness, for the most part. And, finally, there is
some kind of result. The result might be a decision, a behavior, or a
feeling. But, in the end, there's something that happens.

But there's one more ingredient. To generate a behavior, a decision,
or a feeling (which means you are in some way motivated to do
something, believe something, want something, etc.), something has to
happen that tells you "it's time to do, feel, want, or be 'X'."

What is that something? It's the fact that the bit of internal
dialog, the feeling, the picture, or the sound MATCHES some criteria
you have stored inside. When you get a match, it's as if a switch is
thrown, and suddenly something in you says, "That's it," and you know
what to do, what to decide, or what to feel. It's possible that the
match you get just tells you to go to the next internal
representation, but at some point there is THE match that tells you
want to do, want, decide, be, etc.

For example, you're looking for a wristwatch. You go into a store
that sells such things, and you see a wristwatch (visual), and it
matches an internal picture you have stored for wristwatches you like
(visual remembered). That match causes you to say to yourself, "That
looks good." (internal dialog) Then, you pick it up (kinesthetic).
The way it feels in your hand when you pick it up, let's say, matches
a stored feeling of how a watch you would like feels in your hand
(kinesthetic remembered). You ask a clerk how much (auditory), and
the clerk's answer matches a stored criterion you have for price
(internal dialog remembered)), and you say to yourself "This is it"
(internal dialog) and get a feeling that matches a stored feeling of
satisfaction (kinesthetic remembered). You then walk to the cash
register and buy it (decision and behavior).

This is an example of a buying strategy: a string of internal
representations, one leading to another, most of them leading to the
next because what happened matched stored internal criteria, finally
leading to an action or feeling, in this case buying something.

Again, all of this happens automatically, and you probably aren't
aware that you are going through all these steps. And, of course,
your buying strategy may be very different from this one in the
details. But you DO have a buying strategy, and it's probably the
same, no matter what you buy, in its basic structure.

Some buying strategies are resourceful, and lead to intelligent
purchases, while others might be unresourceful and lead to trouble.
If your buying strategy is "See it, Buy it," for instance, without
any criteria that might weed out purchases you might not be able to
afford, or can't use, or might regret, you might end up with all your
credit cards maxed out, and with a house full of stuff you don't want
or need. Not resourceful, in other words.

Another buying strategy, with more steps, and where you compare each
internal representation with internal criteria that result in only
buying what you need and can afford, will be more likely to give you
results that serve you. In other words, some strategies are
resourceful, and some are not.

You have strategies for almost everything you do. Whenever you make a
decision you use a strategy. You use a strategy to decide whether to
turn right on the way to work and take the freeway or go straight and
take the surface roads. Maybe you look at the traffic at the
intersection at which you must choose one route or the other, and
depending on how things look at that point (comparing it to stored
internal criteria) you make a decision. "It looks like the traffic is
going to be heavy on the freeway, so I'll use the surface roads
today." The process may involve internal dialog, pictures, feelings,
and sounds, in some order, leading to the decision and the behavior
of turning one way or the other.

If you're deciding what to eat for dinner, you will use a strategy.
If you're deciding who to be attracted to, who to date, or who to
marry, you will use a strategy. If you're deciding how to invest your
money, you will use a strategy. If you're deciding to take a certain
job, you will use a strategy. Moment by moment, all day, you use one
strategy after another, all of them wizzing along in your head
without your noticing them, to make each decision and generate each
feeling and each behavior.

These strategies have two main keys in terms of whether they're
resourceful for you or not. One is the strategy itself, the sequence
of which internal representations happen, and in what order. Certain
sequences give certain results, some of which are resourceful, and
some of which are not. See it, buy it, is, for instance, probably not
a very resourceful buying strategy.

The second key is the nature of the stored criteria to which you make
comparisons. If you're using faulty criteria, you'll make faulty
decisions. If you hit on every woman that looks hot to you, not
taking into account her personality, her level of integrity, her
current marital status, and other things that could make a
difference, you could run into problems. If you make an investment
with the criteria that a cab driver said it was a sure thing, you
might lose your money.

Depending on these two keys, you could end up with results that serve
you or results that create problems for you. And, remember, all of
this is happening unconsciously. You are probably, in most cases,
aware of the trigger and then the result, but the process in between
is unconscious. To you, the trigger just naturally generates the
decision, the behavior, or the feeling. Because the process is
unconscious, the result just seems to HAPPEN. It does not occur to us
that WE have created what happens, based on our internal map of
reality (in this case, more specifically, a certain strategy, which
is one aspect of that map).

Beliefs, values, decisions (stored decisions, in this case),
memories, and attitudes (like and dislikes, for instance) all can be
part of the internal criteria you unconsciously use for comparison in
trying to get an internal match.

Let's say you go into a restaurant to eat. You look at the menu, and
read the possibilities for what you could eat. If you have a strategy
of "read it, picture it, get a match with an internal criteria of
'tastes really good,' get a good feeling, and then order it and eat
it," you might find yourself overeating and gaining weight. All your
aware of is "read it, then get a strong feeling that tells you to go
ahead an order it." You may not be aware of the internal criteria you
are measuring it against, and that that criteria is going to lead to
eating foods that are too rich and too laden with calories.

You could, though, have an internal strategy of read it, picture it,
and compare it to stored criteria of how healthy it would be, or how
rich it would be, or the amount of food the order would contain, or
even how hungry you are at the time, then say to yourself "I don't
need to eat that much," generating a feeling that leads you to order
(as my wife often does) an appetizer and a salad.

I could gives examples of strategies for how you choose who to be
attracted to, how you choose what to buy, what to eat, what to say in
a given situation, how to invest your money, or a million other
things.

When I was learning about strategies, I heard a story of a man who
had never been in a romantic relationship with a woman. He just never
seemed to get that feeling of attraction. When his internal strategy
for becoming attracted to a woman was uncovered, it was no wonder!
His strategy involved needing to see her from a certain distance,
whihc had to be off to his left, and partially from behind, over his
shoulder. And, she had to match, at the same time, certain criteria
about how she looked and how she moved. The chances of his getting a
match that generated the feeling of "this is someone I want to
approach as a possible date" were pretty slim.

Where did he get such an unresourceful strategy? Probably in some way
From certain interactions with his mother, but the full explanation
of such an unusual strategy is beyond the scope of this article.

The point is, you have many strategies. The way they generate what
you decide, feel, and do is so automatic, and so seamless, that it
seems as if what happens just could not be any other way. This is one
reason why people often feel as if the results they're getting are
inevitable, or are caused by something outside of themselves. Your
strategies play a huge role in the results you get, and if you don't
like the results, you can change the strategies and get different
results.

Furthermore, there are certain strategies that others are probably
using to generate results just like those you want. If you can find
out what those strategies are, you can adopt them and get the same
results (discovering and adopting the strategies of those whose
results you would like to emulate is part of the process of modeling,
which I have written about in Mind Chatter in the past--see the
archives on our website). In some cases, there might not be an
example to model, especially if you want a result no one has ever had
before. In this case you might have to create a totally new strategy.

If you think, however, that you can get different results without
changing the strategies you use, you are mistaken. To get different
results you MUST change your internal map of reality to one that
generates the results you want. Thinking you will stay the same but
get different results is wishful thinking.

So what can you do? You can go inside and investigate what your
strategies are for various things you do, and notice the results they
generate. Those strategies that give you want you want you can keep,
and those that don't, you can change. I'm in the process of creating
a series of three courses, collectively called The Life Principles
Integration Process, which will contain individual home seminars on
strategies, beliefs, values, and all the other parts of your map of
reality, plus quite a few other topics. There's a lot of nuances to
strategies I just don't have room for here. If you go through the
LPIP, I will lead you through this investigative process, and help
you discover how to change the parts of your internal map of reality
you want to change, and in doing so, construct a new map of reality
that generates the results you want.

Second, you can continue to meditate with Holosync (or start, if you
haven't yet). Holosync makes what was unconscious, conscious. As you
use it, you will begin to see your previously unconscious strategies
(and other parts of your internal map of reality) and how they
generate what's happening for you, internally and externally. As the
heightened awareness generated by your use of Holosync develops,
something amazing happens: the strategies that don't serve you fall
away, without your doing anything, and those that do serve you,
remain. If you want to consciously adopt new strategies, beliefs,
values, and so on, it becomes very easy to do so.

The sticking point is that you adopted the strategies you currently
use while you were growing up, mainly to allow you to feel safe in
your family. They may have worked great in your family, but not serve
you very well outside your family. But you associate them very
strongly with safety. For this reason, you have become attached to
them. Even if they give you results you wouldn't wish on your worst
enemy, an unconscious part of you associates them with safety, and
when you try to change them, that part of you, unconsciously, resists.

Again, Holosync solves this problem, because it both soothes that
part of you, and also bypasses it and makes the change anyway.
(Heightened awareness solves a lot of problems!)

The purpose of this article is get begin the process of your becoming
aware of the internal process you go through to generate the results
you're currently getting, and how you can make that process
conscious, and change it so that it give you the results you want. So
begin to consider this idea of internal strategies, and how you use
strategies in your own life. As I complete the different parts of the
Life Principles Integration Process, please take advantage of it.
And, use Holosync for your daily meditation.

You really can create the exact life you want, inside and out.

Promise.

Be well.

Bill Harris, Director

14. Glowing Testimonials and Letters

Hi Bill,

I got this email out of the blue the other day and this woman and I
have been corresponding since about the wonders of Centerpointe. A
year ago, I'd posted something on Walt Stoll's site (which is where I
learned about your program) about how Centerpointe helped me in a way
that no other meditation cd had before.

Best

Jody J.

Hello Jody:

I saw your message posted on Dr. Walt Stoll's boards. I am new in the
Centerpointe program. It has been very helpful for me so I am
wondering what level you are on and what it is doing for you now. It
would be nice to chat with someone who is also in the program.

I wasn't ever able to relax before and the CD's are a miracle for me.
It is amazing to me that there was one message on Doc Stoll's board
that was a complaint about Ceneterpointe not helping!

I appreciate any correspondence from you.

A friend,
Marian L.

A letter from someone who has recently completed the entire Holosync
Solution program:

Dear Bill,

I have been a regular meditator now for thirty years. I began with
TM, switched to Zazen, and moved on to Siddha. I have devoted at
least two hours per day to the practice of meditation, and for a
period of eight years I devoted four hours per day to the
practice. Currently, I meditate for two hours per day. I have also
been involved in a high-tech meditation program other than that
offered by Centerpointe Research. So, I speak from experience when I
tell you this:

Centerpointe's program is not only far more effective than unassisted
meditation, it is far more effective than any other form of
high-technology meditation. The reasons why the Centerpointe
Research program is superior to other similar programs are:

> From the very start, the hyperliminal messages (affirmations used in
the custom-made levels) are customized. They are your messages,
in your voice and words, addressing your innermost needs and goals.
Other programs use a one-size-fits-all approach using someone else's
voice. This does not enable you to address your own personal issues,
needs and goals. Centerpointe enables you to do so with an
effectiveness that must be experienced to be comprehended. You will
access altered states of consciousness normally reserved for Masters
with many decades of meditation under their belt, states that will
enable the hyperliminals to take root and grow and become a Tree of
Life springing forth from your innermost being.

Centerpointe Research uses hyperliminals, not subliminals. Studies
have shown that subliminals have little if any actual effect or
value, and I can personally attest that subliminals have little if
any lasting transformational impact. I can also attest that the
hyperliminals used by Centerpointe Research are not only highly
effective, but effective well beyond the modest claims made for
them by Centerpointe Research. This is a cutting-edge approach for
reaching the deepest levels of your being and reprogramming yourself
From the core outward. It works, and it works with power. Become the
person you have always dreamed of being! Centerpointe gives you the
tools to make that dream a reality.

So, if you are serious about personal transformation, whatever form
that may take for you, Centerpointe Research can and will deliver on
it's claims, and more. In my informed and experienced opinion, one
would need to meditate eight hours or more per day for much longer
than thirty years to realize the same benefits to be had from
completing the Centerpointe program. All that is needed on your part
is willingness and perseverance. Your reward will be great, for my
reward has been great. I have persevered all the way to the end, and
I will conclude by saying: Centerpointe Holosync meditation is like
strapping warp-engines onto the star-ship of your meditational
experience.

If you have recently begun to use Centerpointe Research meditation
soundtracks, let me begin by saying you have made a wise choice.
There is nothing else available that comes close to the
transformational potential of these soundtracks.

In my own experience, I came to a point somewhere in the early
Purification stage (Purification begins at the 6th level of the
program), when I realized that "catharsis" has no reality and hence
no power. It is, after all, merely feelings, emotions, and
occasional symptoms. Feelings have only as much power as you are
willing to grant them. I am not advocating fighting or suppressing
catharsis. Quite the contrary. Let it flow! I am saying the time
will come when you too will experientially realize such feelings are
powerless over you. So, do not be discouraged or dismayed. Start
learning to see catharsis as simply another function of your monkey
mind. It is, in the end, powerless.

See the program through to the end. Join those of us who have
finished the program and know why the Buddha smiles.

Divine Light and Life to you this day and every day!
Rev. Nathaniel J. Merritt

From someone who attended the last Centerpointe Retreat:

March 28, 2003

Dear Bill:

Many years ago I was in a very dark place in my life; so dark that my
life was greatly in jeopardy. A kind friend directed me to her
therapist. I took every opportunity to test and challenge this
therapist and regardless of my resistance, defiant behavior, I found
him to be truly and consistently wise, kind, loving, supportive and
encouraging. There is no question that this gentle man saved my life
and my sanity.

Over all of these years , I have carried the belief that if there was
one man on this planet that was genuinely kind and loving, there
surly must be another. I never found that man until the March 2003
Centerpointe Retreat. His name is Bill Harris.

Thank you, Bill.

Very sincerely,
Micky K.

Regarding my article about the Iraqi War and the general state of the
world, in the last issue:

Thank you Bill! The Interim Report I received today was EXACTLY what
I needed to read. I have been experiencing some mild "overload" for
the past couple weeks! My dreaming has increased causing me to have
some interrupted sleep patterns and my stress levels have been
increasing. I am on Immersion Level 1.5 of Awakening Level 2. I am
about to start medical school in the Caribbean at the beginning of
May. Therefore, my entire life is about to change! I have been trying
to "just watch" as things develop, but I have been feeling like I was
losing ground.

Your report today has enabled me to really "see" and understand what
have I been ALLOWING to happen in my mind. I now feel ready to move
forward and ready to allow this state of "disorganization" to run its
course! I will keep you informed as things develop. Thank you again
for your help and support! Please keep up the good work! You are
truly appreciated for all your efforts.

A faithful Inner Circle Holosync User!!

Dear Bill Harris,

Just thought I would comment that you have mentioned something I've
thought a lot about but have not seen mentioned before in this
particular way (doesn't mean it hasn't been o, of course)--that six
billion people create quite a matrix--something that has never
happened before--it is food for much thought and meditation, as I'm
sure you are aware. Just thought I'd express appreciation for the
thought...

Thanks Bill for your kind thoughts. The world is indeed in a mess.
In coming into work this morning there was a 30 car pile up on on a
major expressway. When asked what might of caused it the reply was
societal chaos in the minds of those who were driving. People are so
enthralled in what is happening to day in the world the are not
paying attention to what they are doing or what is happening whin
them. It is hard to explain what Holosync has done for me other to
say that without it I would more than likely be one those people
in that pile up. I am in the second level and doing well. My map of
reality has gone through 5 major changes, all of them creating a
better way to cope with life.

Hope all is going well. Keep up the good work.

Jim M.

Thank you so much. This shorter version is much easier to digest
without wading through general information. I really enjoyed this
article and find it very helpful to me right now.

15. Book Review
By Marc Gilson

Exploring Consciousness
By Rita Carter
2002 University of California Press

Buying a book on consciousness research is a little like buying an
ice cream cone; you'd better consume it quickly, before it melts. The
field of consciousness research is always changing, and it's a
challenge--even for experts in the field--to keep up.

Rita Carter is well-qualified to write a book on conscious that may
just outlast that single scoop of rocky road. Her previous book,
"Mapping the Mind" is a wonderful description of what researchers are
learning about brain function. And now in "Exploring Consciousness,"
Carter brings her considerable depth of understanding to bear on what
may be the most mysterious and elusive topics of science.

"Exploring Consciousness" manages to present what might be called a
"unified theory" of consciousness, bridging gaps between competing
theories, and considering the topic from as much a philosophical
perspective as a purely scientific one.

Carter is rare in her ability to not only highlight the advances of
science in regard to consciousness, but to also define the
ever-changing limits of the "hard problem" itself. "The hard
problem," when it comes to consciousness is, quite simply, how to
define it. What is consciousness? How is it that the most common and
intimate of all human experiences--thought--is also the most
difficult to properly explain? Over many centuries, and to thousands
of skilled minds, the mystery of consciousness has been both alluring
and elusive; revealing a smattering of clues that seem only to lead
deeper into the mystery.

Today, there are fresh minds exploring the problem of consciousness,
and Carter not only explains their contributions, but actually
presents articles by leading experts like John Searle, Dr. Andrew
Duggins, and David Chalmers. This information helps to portray an
up-to-date picture of what we know, while giving tantalizing glimpses
into what may be just around the corner. While there is indeed much
to learn, most readers will be impressed with the amount of knowledge
already gained about consciousness. And Carter misses very little in
her presentation of this knowledge.

One of the major appeals of the book is Carter's willingness to
explore aspects of consciousness which, perhaps only a decade ago,
would have been considered dangerously out of the scientific
mainstream.

Beyond the usual questions of whether consciousness is an biological
function or a psychological phenomenon, Carter also explores the
possibility that consciousness is a fundamental aspect of reality
itself. In a chapter titled "A Conscious Universe?" Carter explores a
range of issues such as "shared consciousness," psi experiences, and
the connection between transcendent states and brain activity. She
recounts several personal experiences suggesting a more metaphysical
basis for consciousness, but is quick to balance the experiential
with the rational. She posits several possible explanations for such
experiences, while reminding us that there are no solid conclusions
currently, and that there is still much to learn regarding
transcendent states, psi, and other phenomena.

As a frequent reader of these kinds of books, I am particularly
sensitive to the treatment an author like Carter gives the topic.
Many books proclaim to offer deep and profound insights into
consciousness. Yet too often the authors seem to present only
disjointed theories and loosely-strung ideas barely reflective of the
real research. Carter makes no such mistake. She is intimately aware
of the pitfalls of over-speculation and makes clear demarcations
between what is concrete knowledge about consciousness and what is in
question. She presents the topic in a highly accessible manner, with
dozens of illustrations and side-bars to enhance the feel of the
book. It does happen to be an attractive book; you might think of it
as a handsomely stylized textbook on consciousness, or as a compact
addition to your coffee table book collection.

Exploring Consciousness will appeal to both expert and layman. Carter
has that terrifically rare ability to make simple facts fascinating,
and complicated ideas intelligible. There will come a day, perhaps
sooner than later, when the information in Exploring Consciousness
will become outdated, melting like ice cream on a summer day. But for
the moment, it's the most complete, well-presented, and compelling
look at the topic of consciousness on the shelf.

16. Important Announcements (and I do mean important):

1. We have changed the name of the Centerpointe program from The End
Personal growth through Technology to The Holosync Solution. Same
program (though we are always making improvements, and I'll have some
important ones to announce soon), just a different name.

Because we have so many different printed pieces that have the old
name on them, and because tossing them would be expensive and I don't
want to have to pass such costs on to you, it is possible that those
of you in the program may get literature for a while with the old
name one it.

2. My new book, Thresholds of the Mind, is back from the printer, and
I'd like to you to own a copy and read it. I have found that those
who read the book have some tremendous "ah ha's" about their life and
how they can do something to make it one of happiness, inner peace,
and success.

Here are some comments about Thresholds of the Mind from some
prominent personal growth leaders:

"In Thresholds of the Mind, Bill Harris offers a creative and
practical new twist on why we suffer, and how, despite our
resistance, we can attain deep happiness and inner peace, regardless
of our past or present conditions. Thresholds of the Mind will
benefit anyone interested in creating dramatic and powerful positive
change."

Jack Canfield , Co-author of the #1 New York Times best-selling
Chicken Soup for the Soul series.

**

"In this remarkable post-modern work, transcendence and technology
are joined in unique and potent ways. There is much to ponder here
as we advance our understanding of the inherent genius of our
mind-body systems and the new ways to tap the potential within us
all. Harris brings together hitherto divided and distinguished
worlds-science and consciousness-to enable the evolution of our
species in these most challenging of times."

Jean Houston Ph.D
Author of 17 books including Jump Time, protege of anthropologist
Margaret mead, co-seminar leader with mythologist Joseph Campbell,
past-president of the Association of Humanistic Psychology,
co-director of the Foundation for Mind Research

**

"For many years Kathlyn and I have taught that the central problem
human beings face is what we call the Upper Limits problem-the
tendency to settle below the threshold of what is possible to
achieve. Bill Harris not only understands this problem, he has
created an ingenious technology for breaking through it, With the
remarkable Holosync audio technology developed at Centerpointe
Research Institute, all of us can now learn to live at a new and
higher level of functioning. Do yourself a huge favor by reading
Thresholds of the Mind and working with Holosync audio technology.

Gay Hendricks, Ph.D. author of CONSCIOUS LIVING and co-author (with
Dr. Kathlyn Hendricks ) of CONSCIOUS LOVING President, The Hendricks
Institute

**

"Bill Harris comes from deep personal experience with healing and
consciousness. Thresholds of the Mind is truly inspiring and filled
with profound wisdom. Holosync is the perfect addition to other
growth and spiritual processes."

Margaret Paul, Ph.D. author/coauthor of Do I Have To Give Up Me To Be
Loved By You?, Healing Your Aloneness, Inner Bonding, and Do I Have
To Give Up Me To Be Loved By God?

**

"With a loving heart, Bill Harris guides us to the thresholds of the
mind. This remarkable book is not only a profound tool for healing.
It is also an invitation to explore the mystical interface between
technology and the soul."

Daphne Rose Kingma , author of The Future of Love, Heart & Soul, and
Coming Apart

3. Six Months of Growth in Just 5 Days? Impossible?

NOT!

That is, not if you sign up for the next Centerpointe retreat. Our
upcoming retreat will be at Breitenbush Hot Springs in Oregon in July
of 2003!

We filled the last two US retreats without even sending out a
promotional letter, so if you have a big issue you'd like to
eliminate, or just want to take your growth to the next level, don't
wait--call Centerpointe and sign up today, even though July might
seem to be a long way off. Otherwise, you may find this retreat sold
out and you'll be out of luck! Don't delay--I promise, the
Breitenbush retreat will fill up fast.

What if it doesn't work for you?

No problem. We GUARANTEE results!

If, at the end of the retreat, you don't think it was 'as advertised'
-- and more -- we'll refund your money!

You do not need to be a program participant to attend (though most
people who attend are). (And if you're not a program participant, why
the heck aren't you? Quit procrastinating and join.)

Click here for more information: http://www.centerpointe.com/retreats
Or, call us between 9:30 and 5:00 Pacific time, M-F, at
1-800-945-2741 or 503-672-7117.
